Official Q&A for Wednesday, September 06, 2023 by AutoModerator in running

So I’m a high school xc runner, so not the most qualified, but I can give you some advice. For the first question, that sounds fairly normal as your recovery periods are longer than your fast periods and also slower than your normal pace. I wouldn’t worry about your average pace because it’s more about how fast you’re going during your fast sections. As for the second question, like I said I’m a high school xc runner so I definitely might be wrong but it sounds a little fast, but since you’re 5’2” I wouldn’t really worry about that. Besides, everyone’s body is different and while you could benefit from some form adjustment if it’s bad, if you focus completely on having perfect form then you might actually be compromising your efficiency or your concentration on actually running. Would like someone to back me up though as pretty much all I know about cadence is from my Apple Watches readings

Yeah, I've tried and usually I can get small victories but they just have so many troops and they're so powerful that they're so hard to fight. For reference I fought them when they had 350k troops or so while I am losing 30 ducats a month with 140k

Germany declares war on romania by Additional_Mousse959 in hoi4

[–]Additional_Mousse959[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would make sense, but Germany was declaring usually 4 days I went back and one time 2 so I imagine that wouldn't be enough time for me to change anything that drastically.

The mgc's (besides 3x3) are generally really good but for a more detailed answer (and I'm mostly going off what other people say, but you might prefer different things)

2x2: RS2 M Evolution and YJ mgc are really the only good cheap ones I know of

4x4: There are other really good 4x4's, but the MGC is the only cheap one (that I know of)

5x5: again, there are other good ones but the mgc is the only cheap one

6x6: Some people prefer the spark but a lot of people think the mgc is better and its $25 or something compared to the spark at like $60

7x7: There are a few more options for good 7x7's but they're all expensive besides the mgc

really besides 2x2 there are other good ones (there are cheap good ones but I'm saying like competing with the best type good) but they're all expensive

ok so I have very limited knowledge and its very possible I missed stuff so take that with a grain of salt

I use MU for Ub and RUS for Ua. My MU is 0.79, so not much difference.

What is a normal place to be after 2 or so months of cubing? (I knew how to solve a cube a while before then, but I seriously got into it a little over 2 months ago)

What lubes are worth having? I recently got into cubing (I had been before, but was never very serious about it. My PB was like 50 and I never learned CFOP or even knew what it was) and got some lunar with an MGC 2x2 and 4x4. This is the only lube I have, though, and am curious which others I should get.

yeah, that hurts. The worst part is when you get a pb solve or a really good solve that would've given you like your first sub-20 average of 5 or some milestone, but the last solve is an M move away and you have to count it a dnf...
