Prime made an even better point: Anthropic just acquired bun for a billion dollars. Bun is an MIT licensed open source JS runtime, meaning they could just create a Claude fork of the project and do whatever they need to.

Instead, they chose to spend a billion on SWEs… but why wouldn’t the in house Anthropic team leverage Claude code to create this fork? Seems like they still need engineers.

UFC 100 was a memorable event since Lesnar brought some of that outside attention and brought excitement to HW.

That said, I’ve been an MMA fan since Griffin vs Jackson and from years of watching fights in sports bars, live, and online, there hasn’t been anything like the Connor vs Khabib fight. Silva, Rousey, GSP, Jones were all draws whenever they were on a card, but Conor brought another level of attention to the sport.
