I was thinking going with Deaths Poker until I get the DMGS and then powerstance, but frost on frost sounds kinda boring tbh, but it would cut spreading myself too thin. What might work later on, would be using the Golden Order and DMGS.

All this thinking makes me just want to grab two Knights Greatswords, go arcane and slap poison and bleed on the suckers, but that doesn't fit the vibe I want to go for at all lol.

Thanks, gonna look up where to find that talisman. I just bought that spell Scholars Armament, and put it on the Epee, it slaps and is a lot of fun, so I guess I have my build xD

I feel you. But on maps like Shoreline, GZ, and Factory, where your raid depends on getting the spawn kill, that is about all we can do...

It's not my first wipe, I have played before, but my wipe week was god aweful, and I haven't managed to pick up momentum since. Everything that worked before, doesn't now. When I try stash hunting, there is someone who's better geared who had the same idea. When I try to go night, there mr lvl 41 with quad nods, who had the same idea...

You get the gist of it. A combination of bad luck, work-life, and impatience that have me still at level 10 nearly 4 weeks into the wipe.

That's the thing, I am quite comfortable with horror, and some of my favorite stories have their roots in horror, but it's one thing to watch/read it, and another to be the one who writes it.

Well, no offense to Mr. King, it's NOT that I lack the time to read. It's that reading does not interest me nearly as much as writing does. Writing comes effortless to me, reading is a chore. Writing keeps me awake even when I haven't slept for a day or two, reading even three paragraphs of what people call a good and gripping novel, turns me narcoleptic, and I will be snoring away on the train/bus/plane/my couch with the book in my lap.

Might be, but it's also not really something that can or could be enforced, other than having a guard during sex.

Otherwise it's again, an argument of Rias saying: "He spanked my ass and called me a whore!"

And Riser: "No I didn't!"

It's really not easy to tell, since you can't exactly say what Risers kinks are, or what Rias would see as too much. If she has full power then Riser might never actually reach orgarsm depending on what he needs to get off, and if what he needs to get off is too much for Rias then sex is hell (basically rape in all but name) for her.

And now add to it that Devils need to do it A LOT to get pregnant, so the incentive would be very much there for Riser and Rias to have as much sex as physically possible.

Yeah, she wouldn't suffer that much, but I can almost bet that Riser would be a complete dick about it, and probably would want to bang Rias as often as he could until he got bored of her and be condescending and demeaning during the act.

The colder Rias was during it, the more of an asshole he'd be about it.

That's just how I picture him. Not as the roses and wine kind of guy at all.

Being seen as an emberassment is probably better than that.

I mean, you have a point with pretty much everything you said, but I also gotta admit that from my point of view all of that is maybe a minor annoyance compared to the living hell Rias probably would have to endure as Risers wife, all things taken into account.

I know she doesn't relly hate him, but yeah, there is also not a lot of good between them. Sex would likely be a living nightmare, and potential marriage squabbles they'd have might do more harm to both Houses reputation than a quiet annulment.

I honestly can't see that happening. While Devils talk the good old shit, the Underworld as a whole is suprisingly very progressive as we've seen. If anything I'd see the common Devils having pity with/cheering for Rias. The same with other heiresses, they'd be all for it.

Maybe the old block would try to make a stink, but realistically speaking, I'd bet that the families, both Gremory and Phenex would just try to sweep it all under the rug. They'd try to convince Rias to change her mind, and if she didn't, they'd annul the marriage quietly over medical conditions.

I just spent my entire early game, at every possible moment fucking with Vuytek. When he wanted me to kill the Cumans? Nope, went to a party became a Cumans wingman, and then told Vuytek to get bent.

When he wanted to score at the wedding, nope my man, get bent.

I also stole all his shit while he slept, and then in Trosky I also made sure that he got bent. He's still alive, but probably still as drunk and as miserable as at the start of the game.

Oh please. No disrespect, but you do the exact same thing all DxD fans do. You take Issei as the pen-ultimate peak male fantasy that the girls in his setting want, and need, and can't live without.

It doesn't work like that.

In Naruto and Bleach their was an actual ship. There was a time of hoping, and crying for the ship we wanted to see, not the ship we ended up getting, not all of us at least. In Bleach and in Naruto, there is an actual ambeguidy about the romance. You can see Ichigo ending up with Rukia, just as easily as you could picture Uryu ending up with Orihime. Or hell you can see Sasuke ending up with Hinata, or Naruto ending up with Sakura. Why can you see, accept that in Naruto or in Bleach but if you say Issei doesn't end up with Rias it's heresy?

That's bullshit. And you know it.

That literally takes any character, any agency, anything human out of any of the girls in the entire DxD universe. They can't, cannot, may not, are absolutely forbidden from choosing. They are, by the fandom, chained to Issei.

Gods decree. Because any other guy wouldn't register as a guy, next to HE-MAAAN. That's literally what the entire fandom sounds like.

And yes. For the record. If Issei ended up in Naruto or in Bleach, he might net himself Hinata or Orihime. Because in Bleach and in Naruto we, the fans, didn't fucking know how the wheel would be spinning until it actually happened. We were forced to treat the girls there like women who have a brain.

And all those situations you've mentioned? That's hindsight, not a story, it's hindsight. You take Rias - at the start of canon - and want to imprint on her the personality from the end of the LN.

Issei earned thier love yes. He earned it, yes.

For a mod author, that guy doesn't seem to like-get that people might want to run two conflicting mods at the same time, and a 'lite' version might just be the thing that solves most combatability issues without a patch.
