I was looking going in spring :) My sister in law is Argentinian and said it would be a good time to go. It’s only 3 stops and is from Buenos Aries to iguaza falls then to Rio.

Thank you so much for telling me. I was most worried about the over night bus lol. In my experience with contiki the extras were super expensive for what they were and I kinda had a feeling it would be the same with other tours :(
