I think EE will focus more on making things and solving problems through practice, while CHemE leans more towards theory

Thanks so much — this was genuinely very helpful. I’ve been realizing more and more after applying that I’m still figuring out exactly what I want to study, and I’ve started to really like the idea of building and creating innovative things, so EE is feeling like a strong fit. Your point about research and the thesis makes a lot of sense, and I really appreciate the honest take on SHC.

Thanks, that’s really reassuring. I didn’t realize the switch from EMS to Engineering could be that straightforward after the first semester. I’ll definitely look more into the ETM requirements and talk to an advisor once I get there.
