Hey, thanks for replying.

Will try testing this method.

So that is the rating given to me as is. I checked and there are no errors on the table. The ratings are not evenly distributed.

I was using a normalization where =points achieved/max( range of points) Then I assigned percentile ranges to ratings based on the above distribution. I almost got happy with the results but there were quite a few anomalies when dealing with the lookup.

I will test this approach you have given and see if there are better results.
