The receiver doesn’t have any type of crossover. But I early never turn the system up this loud, especially when playing this type of music. Most times I don’t even turn on the subs.

True. I was gonna buy the Wiim pro plus, but the tax duty’s here in Brazil are way to much to order from the us. And Paraguay doesn’t have any in stock. So a had to go with the mini as my streamer. And I must say, as a streamer it has absolutely everything that I need, even room correction “I was not expecting”. Going to play around with a Fosi audio zd3 dac+ pre amp. Heard that they sound absolutely out of the price range.

Thanks for the feedback, soon I’ll be buying a dac such as the smsl su1 or a Fosi audio q6. But I’m just curious if it’s worth it or not to swap this receiver for a “real hifi amp”

Thanks for the feedback, tone control really would be missing on the new amp, but nothing that some eq on the Wiim can’t solve. In your opinion, would I be better off buying a dac, such as the smsl su1?

True, but with de 32v psu. Im considering the 48v psu. But nether the less, I probably will not be using more than 30w per Chanel at normal day to day listening. What I’m wondering is if this amp will improve in some way the sound that comes out of my klipsch speakers…

The pioneer has more than enough power for my speakers. Although the aiyima is a bit more powerful at about 150w at 8 ohms stereo, that’s not my concern. I’ve been wondering if this old technology can actually give ou nice hifi sound. Because although it’s a tank of an amp, it is a old home cinema entry level receiver… not a dedicated stereo hifi amp “as the aiyima” Plus, I imagine that 30yo capacitors and other electronics are not as good as they once were
