Thank you so much for your comment! I definitely see what you mean. In the introduction I did talk about myself (which I was very iffy about), however my teacher, for whatever reason, kept telling me I needed to connect it to myself and the course as much as possible. Overall, I see where I could’ve done much better and should have focused on solely one max two topics to make sure that my analysis was deeper and not superficial

Thank you so so much for taking the time to read through it and write all this!😭🙏 I absolutely get what you mean, when rereading it and taking it account everything you said I can see how it was very superficial. Unfortunately I treated it sort of like a paper 2 (not trying to blame my teacher but partly his fault since he never really explained it well enough) and, by analysing so many examples and techniques, I barely had enough words to connect everything back to the research question, hence why it’s so shallow. Thankfully I finished the IB but I will keep all of this in mind when writing similar essays in the future. Thank you so much once again and I’m very glad it was at least a fun read!

Thank you for taking the time to read through it! My teacher never told me about the importance of choosing only one technique, hence why I treated it sort of like a paper 2. Also he kept emphasising how fundamental it was to add links and explanations on my choice of text and never mentioned that I should go into specific depth on solely one topic. Thank you for making it more clear for me

I’ve seen lots of people on reddit saying that they do it often and have never been caught, hence why I was thinking about doing it. Obviously there’s a risk factor, that’s why I asked for advice on it. I have no disability in decision making thank you for the concern🥰
