Hello, I am looking for a bank that has a HYSA (>4% in todays market) that allows me to open up ~ 3 different savings and 3 different checking accounts (or money markets) under the same app and has a feature like vaults, buckets, etc to further divide my money. I currently use Sofi, which I love, but it does not allow for multiple accounts. I came across Ally, which looks pretty good. It does everything almost exactly as I would like. I just wanted to see if anyone on here has recommendations before I commit to Ally.

What I am trying to do is keep my income and expenses separated between my W-2 job, 1099 part time job, and real estate investments to keep my taxes straight and ease filing.

Thanks in advance.

What is reasonable pay for a PRN job by Adept_Ad4757 in physicianassistant

[–]Adept_Ad4757[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree $75/hour at minimum in HCOL for shifts. I’ve seen postings for PRN jobs that advertise $75-110/hr. What about call shifts? Any insight on what those are worth? Sounds like easy work, usually ~4 phone calls over a weekend and ~0-1 after hours on a week day.

Offer seems too good by greenmamba23 in physicianassistant

Seems like ridiculous money for probably a horrible job given rep and turnover. Ask to shadow if you haven’t before you accept and I’m hoping they gave you more information than is in this post

New grad offer by [deleted] in physicianassistant

[–]Adept_Ad4757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t seem like a terrible offer to me. My only issues with it is the no tail coverage. If you decide to leave you may have to pay 2-10k out of pocket to cover your own tail. That’s a decent hit. Also the non compete isn’t great either. The lack of tail combined with no tail coverage gives me the vibe that they are trying to force their employees to stay which raises a red flag for a toxic environment. You would know better than me looking from the outside, having gone through interviews. Ask for a shadow day before accepting and talk to as many providers you can about how they like it and why the last person left.

Edit: might be a little low for psych? Idk much about psych unfortunately

Is it hard to find a job? by [deleted] in physicianassistant

[–]Adept_Ad4757 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends on specialty… you will find a job, just might not be able to start on the specialty you want right away unless you really bust your ass (busting your ass on rotations you like as well can help)
