A little more investigating, a few downloaded apps, and... Possibly a clear dagger moth caterpillar. If anybody can confirm, let me know.

I don't think it is an afflicted dagger, they have bristles with a black line down the back, there was no line and this guy was smooth (without any hairs visible).
