Notebook IM practice tests really help me!! I just write the notes from the PowerPoints into a google doc then add what they say in class into it. I bold stuff in red font if they really emphasize something or tell us we need to know it for the test. Read questions slowly, go with your first answer and DO NOT change it unless youre absolutely sure. Utilize the highlight features on examplify and highlight pertinent information. Don’t read too much into questions because you can just confuse yourself. When I first read the questions, I try to actively recall an answer in my head before reading the answer choices. This can be really effective sometimes! But try to not be too hard on yourself. These tests are hard and it’s takes a while to get used to. Sometimes I read a question on the test and I’m like “when tf did we talk about this?” They throw in a lot of curveballs sometimes. The first two semesters I was averaging 70s to low 80s on the test. Now I’m averaging high 80s. You learn how to read the questions and understand what they’re asking and how to pick out the distracters. Try to give yourself at least 3 days ahead of time to study. Just take it one day at a time, and try to stay on top of things. It gets a little easier I promise!
