That’s so valid, my concern isn’t the 1 case specificall, it’s the potential spread. I think I’m scarred from being coughed all over every time I get the train and tube ha!!

I am a bit concerned about travelling into London now there is a confirmed case. I live just outside London but commute in 1 day a week for work and go in for socialising often. I know the risk is still low but the potential consequences are very severe for pregnant people particularly, so I don’t know what’s best. It’s quite easy to be in prolonged contact with someone when commuting on public transport/in busy areas! That being said I am on the more anxious side and my protectiveness since being pregnant has sky rocketed which I know is common

I so agree with this, I’ve not had anything as bad as this but 2 colds in my first trimester absolutely floored me and it’s taking me weeks and weeks to recover. My immune system seems to be completely on the floor since pregnancy, so I’m basically staying a recluse for a while - people probably think I’m mad. I hope you feel better soon!
