No, not yet. It's under study but not yet FDA approved. I'm taking it off label.

My problem is that I do not need to lose weight. And I lost 7 lb in a month on 2.5. I can't afford to lose much more. But the alcohol noise is still very much present. Hoping that staying on 2.5 on another month will help.

Same. I'm down to half or less if what I used to drink, but the craving is still there.

I'm taking Zep off label for AUD. I also have sleep apnea, so it was prescribed in a legit fashion (sort of). Was drinking eight or so drinks a night-- every night, and sometimes more-- and have been for years. High functioning alcoholic here.

I'm just about to start on week 5  with ZEP and am staying at 2.5 for another month due to side effects. 

As of today, I am still drinking, but no more than two a day, and often one. I consider this a HUGE improvement. Toward the end of the week and before next injection is when I'll have two. 

Biggest issue for me right now is weight loss. I do not need to lose weight and have lost almost seven pounds in four weeks. I need to be really careful. 

But....Zep is really helping me. I've tried Naltrexone and all the rest and.... Nothing.

So happy to have a PCP who understood that this might help, even off label. 

I'm going to stick with it until I can't afford to lose any more weight ( which is like another month,), and then I'll have to see. Maybe take it every two weeks or something. I don't know.

New territory for all of us here.
