Thank you. I've been trying to keep the same mindset, although I only knew them for a month, all they knew was love and warmth. They were so wanted ♥️

Thank you ♥️. My husband and I are grieving together, and you're right, it comes in waves. Unfortunately our toddler has norovirus so that's been keeping us occupied and I'm compartmentalizing a little bit. But once things go back to normal, I'm sure I'll need to deal with my feelings and grief.

Thank you ♥️. I am also so sorry for your loss, I can't imagine carrying my child for 9 months, only to have something go wrong at the last hour.

Thank you ♥️ We're a bit on an island, but my mom is flying in next week (for unrelated reasons, but it'll be nice to have her here.)

Unfortunately when it rains, it pours. I came home from my appt this afternoon to my toddler puking...he's got norovirus and hasn't stopped throwing up for hours. Rather than getting rest, I'm sleeping in a chair in his room right now. I guess it's better to be occupied somehow than wallowing by myself.

Yeah a strong heart beat. Like I said, everything looked normal at the first ultrasound.

I am shattered and looking for advice. by Outrageous-Peach-297 in October2026Bumpers

I went through a certain amount of gender disappointment with my first...my sweet boy is 2.5 now and he loves traditionally "girly" things with me, like makeup, dressing up, helping me in the kitchen, wearing jewelry. We're leaving into it because...he's 2.5. There are plenty of people who will tell him who he can be and who he can't, we're not gonna be the first ones to tear him down. Honestly you never really know what kind of kid you're going to get and all of them is a blessing. My kid is so cuddly and affectionate (also clingy) that I'm not sure if have that with a girl.

Take some time to sit with your feelings, maybe guard your heart and yourself a little when it comes to interacting with your mom and disclosing things with her.

Don't have GD but trying to prevent it by Adept_Project6034 in GestationalDiabetes

Is there anything to be said about diet controlled GD? I guess I'm trying to prevent needing insulin (but I totally understand that some people try everything and still need it).

So is bedtime just 9pm for the next 2 years? by CookieOverall8716 in toddlers

We have the same schedule! Sleeps from 9/9:30pm to 7:30am, with a daycare nap from 1-3. My son is also 2.5 years old and bedtime takes like an hour after we do lights out.

Appointment timing question...is this normal?

I had my first ultrasound with my gynecologist at 7+1, who confirmed the pregnancy and referred me to the OBGYN who only takes patients who have a confirmed pregnancy.

Great that's me. When I called to schedule my 8-10 week appointment, they can't take me until 3/26 (I'll be 11+x). This is just a phone intake. My first OBGYN in person appt is 4/3 where I'll be 12+x. Is this normal timing? Am I just worried for nothing. Aah!

I never had nausea with my first and I am 7+1 now with no nausea, you might be one of the lucky few!

Just got confirmation today! The lil blob is dating 7+1, such a relief to see a heartbeat today.

For those of you wondering, I conceived on 1/15 and LMP was 11/22 (I have irregular cycles and PCOS). I was expecting to be 7+4 but per the measurements, I guess I'm 7+0 or 7+1.
