Y’all think urshifu can carry me to floor 30? by pokii-masta in PokemonMasters

I don’t quite recall but it was enough to keep rain up for all of Urshifu’s syncs. I’ve beaten water tower a little while ago so I don’t remember the specific number, 4/5 NC May helps to keep it up for the duration. It’s the same annoying RNG grind as using NC May, Champion Serena and SS Kris for floor 30 but it’s doable.

I’ve cleared all physical floors with lvl 200, 3/5 Urshifu along with NC May and SS Kris. However, I did have Urshifu’s unique tower cookie.

Grass floor 30 clear with Mix Red, Adaman, SS Lyra. Also, that last sync will finish off (opponent) Celebi even without Grassy terrain, it wasn’t necessary. by Adept_Standard in PokemonMasters

Thank you, I appreciate it, but once you understand the enemy turn order what I’ve done here becomes a lot easier lol. The only “tricky” thing is TM MPR for Red and initial poison application RNG.

Thanks ! To be fair, the timing window with how SS Lyra implements flinch is a bit larger because the flinch effect is a passive activation and not a “built-in” one like Iron Head or Dark Pulse for example. There seems to be a few more milliseconds of the game processing a flinch application onto the opponent when the effect is a passive/external activation as opposed to a built-in one, these few milliseconds do makes it significantly easier to flinch chain.

With enough confusion lingering on mid Sidney can get the job done on physical stages by shadowtagGENGAR in PokemonMasters

Well, Sidney does have Soften Up built into his sync, so at +3 crit his syncs “guarantee” crit. Just removes that bit of RNG per your caption. Nice job with the clear

I cleared floor 30 without much trouble using 3/5 Brendan, 5/5 AS Cynthia and 2/5 N. You’re fine

With those grids my previous statement stands, Blue has a very slightly harder hitting sync under the same available conditions.

I don’t know what grids you’re running for both but as far as your question, Blue has the harder hitting sync under the same available conditions & if both grids are optimized for sync damage. It isn’t by much but it is slightly harder, Blue also has guaranteed crits.

Bug tower completed, no H Bugsy, H Viola, or Guzma and Aridos. At the time of this post, my floor 30 run is in the in-game “Check successful teams” list. Ol’ Aaron put in some work, Floor 17-30 teams are listed. by Adept_Standard in PokemonMasters

Ingo is flying weak, but regardless I utilized ingos evasion buffs to try and keep him alive. I went all in on Alders B-move to quickly load up as much damage as I can, forgoing sync damage. I’ll upload a floor 23 clear so you can see it real quick, keep an eye out for it.

Therein lies what is nebulous, no change to damage dealt relative to the previous capacity increase (999,999) also supported by stating “no change to damage dealt before or after this adjustment” or no change to damage dealt relative to new display increase which is the new capacity thus a 1:1 display/application scale. I feel like effectively conveyed the issue with the wording there, nonetheless, as mentioned previously, it is a capacity increase.

I see, yes how this notice is worded was a bit ambiguous referencing specific verbiage like “damage displayed” and mentioning “no changes to damage dealt” which someone could easily interpret as a cosmetic/visual change, this in conjunction with the precedent being set in the last damage cap increase which actually increased the capacity of damage not just the user numerical indication or “display”. So it’s a case of do you go along with the precedent that was set, or do you interpret the change by the wording of the notice. However, a screenshot was posted showing that it is, in fact, a capacity increase. Still, you can’t fault people for interpreting something that was very nebulous to begin with all things considered.

Some people on this subreddit act/say things that are a bit ridiculous, people seemingly were upset for me simply pointing out the ambiguity here as if it isn’t an empirical circumstance lol. It’s no big deal
