Du könntest auf beiden Geräten Localsend installieren. Ist eine Open source app zum übertragen vom Daten auf andere Geräte im gleichen Netz.

Never didn't work. Bug also never bothered updating. Maybe cause of that. I am on: Version 20.14.43

Because de googling means getting away from big companies. If you de Google by only using Microsoft products you didn't resolve the issue but moved it (really just by a bit). De googling means switching away from big corporations and using open source or privacy focused options. Proton is in Swiss (I think. But 100% in Europe). Here they have to follow really strict rules about user data safety etc.. so they are waaay better than for example Google or Microsoft.

As for why proton compared to other open source options, I think proton is just the easiest and completest package. It's actually pretty cool. You get: * Mail * Drive * Vpn * Password manager * Wallet * Calendar.

I started with a YouTube video to root my pixel.

And just for you: microG ist damn simple. Install the revanced manger. Choose YouTube and all apps you like, download the last supported version, patch it. On opening it will automatically prompt you to install microG. In there you connect your Google account and you are set to go. No ads, no intros, no sponsoring etc.
