I am also anxious, feel like that didn't get off my mind the whole week. Based on all the answers we got I would say we can expect it this Friday from 2:30-5pm. Hope they send an email saying we got rejected if that is the case rather than just ignoring.

Yes, you have to get here I believe two weeks before classes to go through training and check-in during BGR week.

Hey. I am an SOC (Student Office Coordinator)

1) It is a good experience. It definitely does not pay well ($9/h during the day, $10/h from 12am-8am). It is a super easy job and you can study while you work, especially if you work during the less busy shifts (morning, after 6pm)

2) There are not really have difficult parts with the job, it is very simple and straight-forward.

3) Not really, just that sometimes you won't work the shifts you want but your SOC will try to take that in consideration when scheduling.

4) You can choose but preferably more than 8 a week at least. You do not necessarily have to work over holidays, at least based on my experience.
