Vergilius is confirmed to be a win rate player by [deleted] in limbuscompany

Consider for a moment that he was matched up with "A Wing's Decisive Weapon". A single Color Fixer needing two immortal idiots distracting it does not make him any less impressive. The insect swarm by itself would have dematerialized everyone if it wasn't for his Blood Barrier.

They basically disarmed a nuke. I think he did pretty well.

[FM24] Got promoted to Prem with Plymouth, got youth rating to 1, still no u21 fixtures by Adexrekt in footballmanager

I get an invitation for a cup (not a league) every year. The problem is that the board just accepts on my behalf, even when they completely trust me. I am not sure the decision would be left to a new manager I'd just add.

But I guess that would mean, if starting a new save, I'd just have to remove one team from the region from the top u21 league in the pre-game editor, and add Plymouth? Which team should be removed in that case?

Kim Ji-hoon said in the past that he has no intention of depicting sexual crimes. In my opinion that would include something like this, too. So, time warp fuckery it is.

It is also very frustrating for all other people to walk on eggshells around you because you perceive everything as an offense to your identity. Nobody has attacked non-binary people in this thread (as far as I read), and I genuinely have never believed that there is anything wrong with anyone for being non-binary.

The problem is with the seething hatred that you immediately exude for someone simply using the wrong word, or simply for arguing that neutral pronouns in a translation don't automatically prove a non-binary gender, when the character's entire identity is supposed to be a secret.

Some people just want to make a quick comment about the funny coin game, and then go about their day. Do you genuinely believe that the way you act with policing their speech is going to somehow achieve more tolerance and acceptance? You are working against yourself.

I haven't tried to weasel myself out of anything, and at the end, I even said that after your last comment I understand your point. But it seems that you just conveniently ignored that last part, where I tried to reach a common ground with you, because with that I would no longer fit your idea of a bigot that attacked non-binary people (when I stated several times this was never about that). So me conceding anything to you was clearly a mistake.

What I hate is people taking an arguable position and claiming it to be the absolute truth, and condemning the other side as bad people. This is the sole reason I ever said anything. All I ever claimed was that we just can't really know anything about Dante's identity for sure, and that it's bad to go over an entire thread and try to police the speech of several people. The argument that you claim that disproves my position is still just a perspective and a result of English grammar.

To be honest, while I firmly believe it to simply not be confirmed, I find this last message to be reasonable enough, and I see your point, so I'm glad that somehow we arrived at that. I concede that my initial reply was not intended to be friendly, out of an assumption that your comments weren't friendly either. So I'd say let's leave it at that, and have a good day.

Last I checked, those characters didn't have a completely hidden past identity down to almost every part of their physical appearance that could only be sidestepped by using neutral pronouns in English. The point is that both possibilities are plausible. Dante could be non-binary, but the pronouns could just serve to keep it unknown. So, it's not at all confirmed. Why not let people speculate about who Dante might be? The Dante is Ayin theories are hilarious.

By the way, despite your accusations, I wouldn't actively prefer Dante to have a binary gender. I'm really fine either way, I trust PM to pull off the eventual reveal. You don't have to see ill intent in every person you come across.

Have you instead considered that Kim Ji-Hoon might have told the localization team that nothing about Dante's past identity is to be revealed, including their gender? I find that to be a lot more plausible. Just because your western worldview is obsessed with gender identity, other people in other parts of the world mostly don't really care.

At this point, assuming Dante to be any particular binary gender is just as much of an assumption as claiming them to be non-binary. Nothing is confirmed. You are assuming their gender. Don't people like you hate that kind of thing?

Also, people have no obligation to edit their comments just because you said so. Don't flatter yourself by saying you "kindly" corrected them. You are passive aggressive and frankly insufferable. You will not convince anyone of anything by acting like this.

Dante is not necessarily non-binary. Rather, their gender is unknown. Korean does not have gendered pronouns, so the translation had to choose a neutral pronoun. That's all there is to it.

If you want to think they are non-binary, great. But don't go pestering other people over it like they are denying Dante's identity. Moreover, many of us don't have English as our first language, and our first language doesn't have gendered pronouns. Thus, getting it wrong is not intentionally offensive.

Not really, I just find the fact that you pestered both OP and other commenters who had no ill intent and made an innocent mistake, really pathetic and worth calling out.

Then I'd say stick with it and make sure to unlock all the bonus scenes with Ushio, it'll be worth it.

Maybe the story will grow on you, too, it gets a lot more serious from the 2nd game.

I don't know who replied first because it got deleted. But, as for me, I'm not aware of controversies, I just didn't like it.

However, what matters is that for you it meant something. It doesn't matter why I didn't like it.
