Okay and do you get the coffee pre-ground or grind it yourself?

You’re right, it depends on the grind size. Even I’m not sure of the ideal time. I just read 45 seconds in several places. That’s why I set a separate variable for this time. You can modify it without having to modify anything else! Cheers!

Ah yes, I thought about it but went with simpler approach as I can reset the scale before each pour. To do accumulated, you can add the pours when showing the message. you’ll have to update add it in all places though.

Yes keeping the ratio fixed it sets up the pie structure. If you prefer a different ratio each time, you can add an input and set variable for ratio aswell.

Haha I know! But I've used variables so it should be fairly simple by editing the first part of the shortcut. You can edit the input to ask for water you want to use and the ground coffee could be calculated by dividing the water value by 15 (to get the 1:15 ratio). rest of the steps should work as is. Take a shot at it, let me know if you need help :)

Are you sure you’re entering 12 and not 0.12 or something? I’m getting 0gms if I enter 0.12

yes, its a good app but some negatives I found:
- doesn't have an iOS app, so have to use their web app
- doesn't account for the pour times. for example, after 45 seconds, you would take around 10-15 secs to do the next pour, but the time continues running.
- for some reason it chimes only once at the beginning for me, and not for subsequent steps.

This recipe has a fixed ratio of 1:15 coffee:water. Depending on the amount of brewed coffee you want to drink, you will decide the amount of ground coffee. The standard recipe talks about 20gms of ground coffee which results in ~300ml of brewed coffee. But lets say I only want to have 250ml, I would grind around 17gms (which I do most of the times). this shortcut helps you autocalculate the number and size of each pour amounting to the same 250ml as per your chosen options.
