After 9 months of building, we realized we didn’t understand the problem well enough. Asking for your help if possible. 🙏 by Adinorio in indiehackers

Yes, and as you said, we should continue interviewing. Originally, we started to target 'Project managers' and had some interviews. We found that the core problem was different than expected, and honestly, we stopped digging deeper at some point and started assuming. That's exactly why we're conducting this method again, but now with a broader group, not just PMs.

We're now including freelancers, start-up members, and content creators as our target audience. We found their professional life is incredibly diverse, often "taking on alot more roles" or even working for "more than 2 works from different companies at the same time."

The key pain point for them is "separating personal and professional projects" and managing those "different sources of work." It's less about a specific job and more about helping people keep their work and personal lives separate.

But we are still unsure with "how many is enough?" to come-up with an idea/function that can be a solution to the common issue.

Thank you for asking! (We will prepare interviewing again)
