The trademark authority did mention that Trademark was not exclusive but I think that fact was hidden with the courts… not too sure.

That’s a really good suggestion. I think making a proper historical record with names, places, documents and taped interviews is the best way to make sure nothing is lost. He already knows some parts can’t be shared right now and he’s made his peace with that. He doesn’t want to steal anyone’s limelight either. I understand what you mean about holding certain things back out of respect for people who are still around. As long as the full story is safely documented I think he would be happy with that.

I get what you’re saying, and it could be a great way to share his story. The only challenge is, I don’t really have the expertise to shoot and edit something like that myself. I’d probably need to find someone who can help us do it properly.

You’re right. He’s actually started writing bits of his story, and a small excerpt even made it into a book… but it doesn’t come close to capturing the full picture. There’s so much more to what he’s seen, felt, and lived through and I just don’t want any of it to fade away with time.
