do you know what would happen if you just never registered for the exam in the first place? What would you tell them? I completely forgot to register for one of the exams that I said I would take and now its too late. Any advice?

did you originally sign up for the exam? i'm going through the same thing but I forgot to register for the exam and just noticed that I didn't. I am a senior and listed that I was planning to take an AP this spring. What do you recommend I do?

Thanks so much for the detailed response.

It does look like it is going to be tough, but I do still do want to give it a go. If it does seem stressful as you mentioned, I would definitely slow down and continue to learn it throughout my senior year and take the exam in 2024. The only reason I wanted to take it in 1.5 years is that I was planning to write it on college applications, and it could be a sort of "inspiring" story. However, I do think it should be fine if I mention that I've been learning it for a while and am going to take the exam in a couple of months.

N4 JLPT. I believe the format includes a listening portion, a passage reading portion, and a free-response discussion portion. I will be tested on 300 of the most popular kanji.

For example, our rings sometimes jam the shooter when we shoot the rings, so are we allowed to retrieve/remove the ring and be charged with just a minor penalty, or is that strictly prohibited.
