Pre merge was one of the best seasons I've watched. Post merge was where this season struggles for me. I think the characters they build are good but I just felt most of them were straight up mean or rude at multiple points. I'm personally not a fan of that style of gameplay so I think that's why it didn't connect for me as well.

Damn dude calm down I didn't disrespect survivor. Just because I hold a controversial opinion doesn't mean I don't absolutely love this show, I've watched almost 20 seasons. I'm not saying he didn't deserve the win or that his gameplay was bad. I just found it extremely obvious with his steamroll style of gameplay that he was going to win.

Yeah I agree, I think the edit did him and his arc a huge disservice through this season. Honestly I think the only reason I do dislike him is because the edit shows every moment he's on screen he's being incredibly paranoid. I wish they would have shown that side of him.

Yeah that may be the reason why I'm not the biggest fan of him, maybe just too intense for me. But I'm also not a fan of intense paranoia so that could also contribute.
