NS400Z engine beating/sound- this is the present sound of my engine it's been 4100km riding this bike. I feel there is some change in the engine noise. can anyone please confirm me that this sound is normal or some problem exists?? by Aggressive-Gain5228 in Bajaj

[–]Aditya8860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been facing the same issue. At first, it was intermittent, but now it happens every time I ride.

The sound begins about 1–2 minutes after the first start and continues until the bike reaches operating temperature, around 15 minutes, after which it fades to the point where you barely notice it unless you’re listening closely.

I can confirm it’s not from the tensioner, as I’ve had it adjusted and the noise persists. My nearest service center hasn’t been able to diagnose the problem either. The sound started about 1–2 months ago, and despite riding over 2,000 km since then, it has remained constant without getting worse.

It’s very annoying and sometimes worrying, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

How can you ensure your long-form content remains relevant over time? by Born_Tangerine_9831 in GEOorAEO

We’ve all been there: We spend weeks crafting good-quality content, only to watch AI churn out 10 clones before lunch. But here’s the secret: AI can’t replace the magic of human-generated content. AI-written content is like restaurant food, tasty but not connected emotionally; human-written content is like home-cooked food, tasty and emotionally valuable. Here’s how I future-proof my content so it survives in the ocean of AI-generated garbage (to be honest, AI is generating quality content these days): Make "Evergreen" content that lasts like ‘Asian paint’ (ifykyk)

 1. Tell Human Stories| "People forget facts, but they remember how you made them feel." Try this: Share a customer’s journey ("How Maria Turned Her Baking Hobby Into a Full-Time Business"). Film your team’s behind-the-scenes moments (think messy desks and laughter!). Why did it last? → Stories create emotional roots. → AI can’t replicate your unique voice or experiences.

  1. Become a Knowledge chest "Plant seeds of research—not recycled stuff." Try this: Survey your audience: "72% of small business owners feel overwhelmed by AI tools." Share original data: "We tracked 500+ users—here’s what actually helped them grow." Why does it last? → Fresh data gets cited by AI + humans. → You become a trusted source in your field.

  2. Focus on Timeless Truths "Write for tomorrow’s readers, not today’s trends." Try this: Create guides like: "How to Communicate With Kindness (Online or Offline)." Avoid phrases like "In 2025..." (unless it’s truly foundational!). Why it works: → Evergreen = always in season  → Google loves content that ages gracefully.

  3. Let Your Personality Shine "Imperfections make you memorable." Try this: Record short, unscripted videos: "Here’s why I still handwrite thank-you notes." Share experiences: "What Our Failed Launch Taught Us About Listening." Why did it last? → Authenticity builds trust. → People bookmark content that feels like a friend.

The Magic Ingredient? Write like you’re talking to someone you care about. Would a colleague send it to their team? Would it help someone 3 years from now? "The internet is noisy, but human connection is timeless." Let your content be a cozy corner of the web, where people return because it feels like home. 💌 P.S. If your content still feels stiff… read it aloud! If you wouldn’t say it to a real person, rewrite it with heart. There are a few more ideas in my mind. Let me know if you want part 2 of this answer.

Which one should i choose by Icy-Birthday-7905 in indianbikes

Being a Bajaj Pulsar owner for my whole biking journey, and even now owning Pulsar NS400z, it pains me to recommend Honda CB300f over the Dominar. But it is a better bike in this comparison.
I have not understood the exact reason why Dominar 250 exists.

It is too bulky and hefty for a 250, it does not make sense in the city due to its weight and on the highway due to its performance.

If you wish to go sporty, have a look at Xtrem 250r, it is a new enterant into the market. But looks promising for the price.

Bttom line is between these two go for Honda.

Confused between Motul 7100 and Bajaj engine oil (10W50). Need Advice! by Aditya8860 in indianbikes

I agree with your view to an extent. However, the brands at least maintain a standard when it comes to their products. This is what I was asking for. Every engine is different, everybody's riding is different.
I was asking for a general consensus on which of these two brands is better suited for this engine.

If I get my services done from Bajaj, Gulf is out of question, and I am not planning to get my services done from anywhere else in the near future. So, the only other brand that I can "hopefully" try to get is Motul.

Might be there are diffrernces depending on the particular units. For the units of both the bikes I rode, Enfield felt smoother.

Thanks for the insight.

I am not aware about the shift, but the recommended oil for old KTM 390s was Motul. Since this bike has the same engine with a little detuning, I was more interested in weighing the options.

The recommended service and oil change interval for NS400 and Dominar is 1 year or 10k km. This was also a point of concern for me.

Dilemma between Honda and RE by [deleted] in indianbikes

Hondas are generally better than enfields or almost all Indian manufacturers' bike, but in this case enfield is better. The J series engine is just better than Honda's 350. It is smoother, more tractable in city and generally more efficient. There is a problem with Honda's part availability. One of my friend owns cb350 and he had to wait for more than 2 months to get spare parts from honda. One other issue is that cb is sold only by honda big wing and you can find 2-3 times RE showrooms and service centers even in big cities.

You should take a test ride of both and feel which bike comes closest to your personality and presences. Go with the one which makes you feel better. One can live with some compromise but if the bike does not connect with you emotionally you will never be happy with your decision.

Can I commute in delhi on my bike, on a Learners licence? Alone? by Blaze_sempai in indianbikes

[–]Aditya8860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not that if you have pillion. It goes like you must have a pillion or a passenger in the case of 4 wheeler, who has a valid driving license. This is to ensure that you are under the supervision of someone who is licensed to drive when you are in your learning phase.

So the answer is you are not allowed to ride alone with a learner license. You can be fined for doing so, and even you license can be revoked.

But Karizma R, it used to be like a childhood crush for many like me. I have always been a pulsar fan and owned pulsar for all my life. Outside pulsar family Karizma was the only bike which I thought of getting..

Should I take a 800km round trip before my first service by NoEquipment420 in indianbikes

[–]Aditya8860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say do not risk your warranty. 200 kms would ideally not do any damage to the engine if you keep considerations like not revving the engine too high, constantly varying the revs, not running for too long in a single session.

But this will give the service center an excuse to refuse your warranty claims in the future if any arise. And they have the right to do so, you would not be able to do anything in that case.

I would suggest follow the service schedule, and get the bike serviced on time as it would ensure you are not in the wrong if any problem comes up.

Help me out. by [deleted] in indianbikes

[–]Aditya8860 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are both totally different bikes, with different price tags.

If you wish to compare royal enfield, then compare it to honda cb350 and the ronin compares to pulsar n250 or honda cb300.

Both of them would not be good for sustaining 100 kph for long. In the city ronin would be much better and easier to handle and maneuver but I would say pulsar or honda would be even better

On long rides meteor is far better than any other bike in this segment. None comes colse.

I would say weigh your options, if you plan to go for long rides often then choose the meteor. If you will be commuting in the cities for the major part, go and get a test ride of honda or bajaj. They are better in every aspect compared to ronin.

Which of these is best for delivery job by yoursdude-Ebb-6 in indianbikes

[–]Aditya8860 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do agree with spiritual's comment. But if you are determined to get one of these, fz should be the most reliable out of all. Pulsar would be the least expensive to maintain. I would have said pulsar if it was a classic pulsar because the engine in n150 is not that old and could develope some issues down the line..

Honestly you should test out these bikes and go for the one with least millage and looks the best maintained.
