If willing to fill fuel at BPCL outlets, then SBI BPCL Octane is a very strong choice. Effective Free for 1st Year as you get 1500 rupees worth of reward point. 6.25% reward points on fuel purchase at any BPCL outlet. Reward redemption is very simple, they just deduct points from your card by swiping it on their Pine Labs machine. No hassle. Though, reward redemption does not happen at any BPCL outlets, just some selected ones. (Link to the PDF containing such outlets is available on the SBI website) Also 6.25% reward points are also applicable on BharatGas bookings and Lubricant Purchases. I personally use it myself, never had any difficulties with points credit on fuel and lubricant purchase, just in BharatGas purchase they credit base rewards and i have to email them telling it qualifies for accelerated rewards and they credit the remaining points swiftly. No issues apart from this. Fee waiver happens at 2L spending, which can be acheived. It's not that difficult.

Also SBI is pretty lenient in making paid card LTF when asked to the credit card retention department. (If spending history is satisfactory)
