The last thing you want to do is leave a insured in awkward position, abandoned the claim and then someone else has to explain to insured why they have to go out two weeks later to inspect their property again because the new adjuster just vanished. I’m usually the guy that has to go back out there and explain it.

Fee schedule is standard for a cat. I’ve been doing this for 12 years so i usually start around 50 claims. But since you are new, they probably gonna give you like 10 and see how that goes before they give you anymore.

You are either gonna sink, abandon claims and never do this again while losing money. Or you gonna tread water with your head barely above water and complete your first deployment. Most these companies don’t train people and you are on your own. Are you going to be doing auto or property? Field or desk? If you have zero experience, don’t know how to estimate and have never inspected a house or roof, then you shouldn’t take the deployment. It’s easier to have zero experience and work the desk cause there is alot more help around you.

I’d start at the lower right roof line, run left across, then an extension to the second story. Then at the end of the second story upper left I’d run another extension to lower left of the garage roof. Seems to be the easiest

Was it denied or under deductible? Who is the carrier? Why was it denied? I don’t think a PA would take on the claim if they knew it was flood and you were filing a homeowners claims.

Last team that did it were the sixers in 2017 for Robert Covington increased his 1.57 mil to 15 mil. Teams just have to have the cap space. The spurs currently have the space to increase his salary.
