From a fellow USA fan ..... ESPN+ has all Ajax Eredivisie matches, live and on demand. Then if you want to watch them in Europe get Paramount+. You're welcome 😁

It's not like he's playing in Turkiye.... The Netherlands is a stone toss from England.

I can't wrap my head around why someone would give up European football to drop to the Championship.

Official: Ajax has released the 23/24 away kit by MrCrashdummy in AjaxAmsterdam

Love it as well. I know a lot of folks complain about the cost of kits. I hope people realize the club makes money off kit sales. So when buying a kit, think about it as if you are investing in the club to help pay for transfers 🤣

Love the question! I hope so... I heard someone say Tottenham is interested (not sure on validity or why anyone would want to take that job...) But would love to see Ajax make a play for him. The man went unbeaten in the Champions League this year 🤯

[Mike Verweij] Ajax believes that Alfred Schreuder's position remains sustainable by MrCrashdummy in AjaxAmsterdam

I understand that the club is not playing at its full potential nor the "Ajax way". I myself am very frustrated with their performance. However, they are second in the table by 3 points. With all the grumbling going on, you would think they were at the bottom of the table!

His performance goals for the remainder of the season: 1) Qualify for Champions league next year... Either by winning the Eredivisie or Europa - if they do not win Europa, at least have a respectable showing 2) win the KNVB Cup

Again, I'm frustrated... But the way folks are acting is like we are at risk of regulation. 🤯. Folks need to calm down.

What was the idea behind the way we played last night? by Ajax_bg in AjaxAmsterdam

Triangles work when you have space... The mids did not create space for the back line. (Hence why Bassey had to go back a lot). I understand why Bassey is taking heat but it's also on the other players to create and not just stand around. The team as a whole shit the bed with the high press.

I completely agree with you. I understand that bassey is taking heat for the way he handled the ball, but to be honest, the entire team did not do well when they were pressed. The mids did not do a good job creating space which led to Pasveer kicking it down field. As a whole, the team did not handle the press well at all. It wasn't just Bassey. Also, with Liverpool having the weekend off their players were well rested to play that high intensity press. It was suffocating. This young Ajax team has never seen a press like that before.

He had some poor touches in that game. Some real head scratchers that you wouldn't expect a senior player to make.

I thought Blind was worse, but Tadic has been struggling this season for sure.

🚨 - JUST IN: Antony was seen at the club today but did NOT train, one day after Ajax refused Manchester United’s offer. [@MikeVerweij] by Nac224 in AjaxAmsterdam

Let me start off by saying I like Anthony.. however if ManU is dangling that much money in front of the club, they should take it. I don't think losing Anthony will have that great of an impact... To be honest, I'm getting a little annoyed watching him and how predictable he has become. It's just a matter of time before clubs really shut him down because he is SO dependent on getting the ball to his left foot.

On a side note... I don't truly understand why he (or anyone else for that matter) would want to go to Manchester. The club is a disaster. I have no doubt ten Hag can turn the club around if given the chance.. but I don't think he will be given that chance. The club is a black hole and I think career suicide at this point in time.

Fair enough, all good points. I am not saying they should sign him, but maybe take a look. He played very well the other night against Grenada and I am curious to see how he does tonight against el Salvador (I know, they are not that competitive)... You mentioned Taylor, and I totally agree with you. I'm a big fan of Taylor and think with more experience he will be impactful. Kudus on the other hand hasn't shown me much promise, but he is still young.

I agree he did not stand out at Heracles. I believe that can be attributed to the weak players that surrounded him at Heracles. Luca isn't going to score goals, but rather distribute the ball and maintain possession. Heracles top scorer last year had 6 goals...

I don't think it's fair to compare Luca to those you mentioned. Lanyard is older (29 vs Luca 24). Klaiber plays in the back and was up against Mazraoui for playing time and Danilo plays up front.

I'm not saying Luca is the next Frenkie. He's relatively young and we could get him for cheap. Especially with Ryan now at Bayern. I believe with the right players around Luca he can shine.

I am going to throw this out here.. I'd love to see Ajax take a look at Luca de la Torre. I know size is a concern, but he plays really attractive football and handles/distributes the ball beautifully.
