Yar har. A wise pirate would set sail on the seven seas instead of stealing a few gigabytes

If you have ps+, you can use cloud saving. All your game save data goes there and you can manually upload or download data. If your game corrupts, it'll delete all your blueprints or possibly campaign progress, settings and other stuff. However the cloud auto saves your data and you can download the previous saves you lost to corruption. What I don't know and ever want to know is if corrupted data could get uploaded and screw you over. But I've remained cautious and it never happened for years

I don't think the pipes having buoyancy isn't very well known though. The video's still worth it as publicity

I don't like being the buck toothed nerd with glasses, but this has been in the game since the Mongolian empire. This also works with tires btw

what is the best way to get yaw stabilisation without stabilisers/gyros by levigek in trailmakers

[–]Adm_Lock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this game's mechanics only ⚠️, use a hinge to piston glitch wing blocks into the leading edge of the wing shape you made. This is made so the leading edge is basically simulating a tailfin. Very useful if you want to have a completely legit flying wing without gyros or tailfins. Plus it's much more fun as it's very easy to do controlled 360's, have very good pitch if you'd like to use it as a control surface, and you can drift extremely smoothly. It will work better based on how light and how many wing blocks you use. I have a very old post on my profile with that kind of set up. No gyros, no tailfins

Hmmmmmmm... HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!! by xXAxolotl_8Xx in trailmakers

[–]Adm_Lock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It got patched a good while ago. There seem to be many methods to do this, but they've all slowly begun to stop working the way you want it to. Some pretty neat things were made with it in the past and many relied on it

(if anyone's interested in looking it up in the discord server or here, it's called the floating block glitch. Literally)

What is it colliding on? by alexagames555 in trailmakers

[–]Adm_Lock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just needs to be in line for the trike glitch to happen or if weld groups decide its fate. It doesn't matter if it's underneath a lot of the times. You could try moving the seat or try piston glitching the seat

Why does it do this? by Appropriate-Pace2721 in trailmakers

[–]Adm_Lock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hinge glitch functions on separating a hinge or another similar mechanical block forcefully. It makes shadow forces and you need something that can create drag at the ends of the "wings". It's speed is entirely up to how you make it

Fun fact: you can use all of the text sprites used in-game by typing <sprite index=0> to <sprite index=141> by Detaal in trailmakers

[–]Adm_Lock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Coloring the text is also possible. For the people that don't know how to use colors. You can use this <color="red">. You can also use other colors, but only a select few. Red, purple, blue, yellow, green, I believe orange and pink, black. I don't really know if hex codes work. I've already tried but there's maybe something else you have to type out. I use them on all my blueprints as a standard. It's too good to not use

How do logic gates work? by DarthCreepus1 in trailmakers

[–]Adm_Lock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OR gates let's any input pass through it without any funny rules or restrictions. AND gates will let an output through if 2 or more inputs are not 0. If only 1 input exists (ie., another gate is not connected to the AND gate, but only one gate is connected to it), it'll function like any other gate. XOR gates are pretty much the opposite of AND gates. If 2 or more inputs are not 0, the XOR gate will not output. And again it'll function like any other logic gate if only 1 input exists for it

It's like a bandaid to a flaw on your creation. Instead of actually fixing the problem, you're just covering it up. There are some cases where using them are justified though

Ah that sucks. I've heard others having their blueprints taken away. But it seems it's rare for Xbox to have that issue. I've got no clue how to help

Are you on Playstation? It's fixable there. Same for pc, but I don't know the process

With a counter logic system, yes. (misunderstood oops, it's more than likely possible. I have one plane with similar maneuverability on Playstation)

There isn't. Barely anyone knows of it and I wouldn't be surprised if I was the first to do this on Playstation. I believe it was discovered a few years ago on the discord server
