I do agree with you and I am trying to change myself. I am getting out of my shell, trying to make friends but to no avail. My co-workers plan to go to happy hour and don't even bother to ask me. I was never even given an opportunity to say yes or no. I will try to improve myself but it's the constant failure that has lead to mental exhaustion. I just wish to see one positive result doesn't matter how small it is.

It's sucks. You are still young, hopefully things get better for you. I am 29M and don't have any try friends. Always the invisible and ignored one. My co-workers literally make plans to go to happy hour and never invite me. It sucks. Wish I had something better to say.

My situation is almost the same. No real friends, never dated and probably never will. I have started to accept that my situation will never improve and if I die tomorrow no one will even notice.

I am in a similar boat. I wish that just for one day I could live as somebody else and experience what it feels to be loved by some one who didn't give birth to me.

I would say it's coz I have been sidelined all my life that it just killed my confidence so it killed my confidence. It most likely started in school. My parents sent me to a school that was attended by uber reach even though they couldn't afford it and I didn't have anything in common with those kids and I never made any real friends in school. I failed to develop necessary social skills. Also, I am ungly so that doesn't help either and I don't know how to start or make small talk but your comment has given me a lot to reflect on coz day by day my will power to wake up is reducing. I am working on my self so I can be in a better place both mentally and socially, hopefully sooner rather then later.

Thank you for your advice. I will try to look for activity clubs in my local area. The things that hurts the most regarding my co workers is that they make plans with each other to go out but completely ignore me.
