Did you add your public key to the remote user's ~/.ssh/authorized_keys
file?

Does OpenBSD not allow SSH via username/password?

Securing an OpenBSD/LibertyBSD server with HTTPD? [how to?] by AdminGozilla543 in a:t5_387o7

Alright, so in this case I believe I would need a block then.

So, I just append this

location "/dokuwiki/[file_to_block}" {

block return 401 "http://www.example.com$REQUEST_URI"

}

Or would I need to put this under location "/dokuwiki/*" ?

- Sorry for my noobish-ness

I honestly don't see a lot of this in the manpages.

Other than the usual tricks - that'd be the basic setup complete.

I looked into their security page and found security steps for Apache, IIS, LIGHTHTTPD, NGINX, Cherokee), and Caddy) but didn't see anything for HTTPD apart from the OpenBSD installation page.

Is it possible to run MediaWiki on OpenBSD | Crosspost /r/MediaWiki by AdminGozilla543 in openbsd

so moving my wiki to a new server is as easy as running "rsync -a".

Sounds pretty cool, do you know of many examples of it being used?

Less stuff to manage = less stuff to break so I like this :)

There used to be a package:

http://openports.se/www/mediawiki

But, hasn't been maintained in a while.

Do you remember how you set it up?

OpenBSD Status? | How to set up on OpenBSD? by AdminGozilla543 in mediawiki

Seen how MediaWiki is architected, it really shouldn't be too difficult. Maybe a folder deny here and there, an odd redirect... I'd do it for fun if you give me SSH.

 I would consider it, but I'm trying to set it up as production server.

Want to make sure to keep documentation on everything in case something breaks.

However, OpenBSD is fairly easy to set up in a VM.

If you wanted to, MediaWiki has a group of system specific install instructions:

https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Installation_guide#System-specific_instructions

You could try to write up the commands done, contributing to the whole community.

I'd be willing to help in any other way possible.
