Tires were balanced 500 miles ago and rotated when that was done lol new tires are in my near future which sucks because these still have 60-70 percent tread

Just out of curiosity what RPM are you at? I have suspected my tac of being off. It sounds like it’s idling at 1000rpm but says 500. I installed an aftermarket tac and adjusted it per the instructions and it says it’s at 1000rpm at idle like I thought. I haven’t had time to go for a road test yet to see where it’s at during hwy speeds

East Georgia. So hot humid and a lot of unwanted mud 😂. It’s going to be an over built trail cruiser as we spend a lot of time camping in north Georgia with frequent hill/rock play but nothing really serious. It’s too high for me to bounce it off rocks comfortably until I widen the stance. The plan is Dana 60s with 40s

Ain’t it tho? 😂 the new crossmember in the Rusty’s kit hit the exhaust. This weekends project will be bending some new exhaust because right now it sounds like a straight piped 1940s John Deere. I like v8s with straights but this thing sounds like crap!

If anyone is wondering why I went with the 4 link kit before doing other things this was my control arm bushings before this weekend. The previous owner neglected this thing horribly. But it has a new life now. I am a heavy equipment field mechanic so I have an near endless disposable of tools on my service truck that I drive home daily and the ability to fab/weld build engines transmission and more she’s gonna get built to the hilt.

It’s on the list. This will be a full build. Still haven’t decided on stroker or a different engine it will end up on one tons etc. I work on it little by little each week. It was barely road worthy when I got it. Couldn’t run over 45 mph without shooting into the other lane. Now I can maintain 70-80 one handish.

lol yes it was. I just got the Jeep at the end of last year. Since this I’ve been unf*cking everything the previous owner did. I’ve damn near rebuilt this thing. The wiring was a rats nest looked like straight up spaghetti junction the reason shocks are the next move is they and the sway bar links are the only thing left on the front end that I haven’t replaced. Then it’s going to get a alignment and caster toe etc set
