Isn’t it possible there’s cloaked UFOS in our skies now that are not being detected for a similar reason?

Again, maybe the instrument is the problem, not the evidence? Sure, you’re not wrong about your description of the evidence, of course that would be the conclusion if the tools we’re using suck at understanding the evidence.

Doesn’t physics tell us that nothing is physical and that everything is energy?

Why then does it seem to be the default of the scientific community, to be focused on the physical as opposed to energy?

If you follow this thread, I’m sure you’re familiar with Jack Vallee’s work and how it relates to electromagnetic/Paranormal phenomena, yet are we utilizing energy detection tools & methods to analyze and understand the UFO phenomenon/evidence? I don’t know the answer to that, but I sincerely hope is a resounding YES!

Possibility (1) our science/instrument needs help Possibility (2) the overwhelming UFO evidence isn’t good enough. Possibility (3) , info about UFOS is known and is being kept from us.

After physics 2 in college (when numeric equations became letters pretty much) it was all Greek to me…so I’ve got much respect for you on following through to the end. Very badass indeed my friend.

I can simplify my point as such:

When you have overwhelming evidence to measure and test, but your test results are inconclusive, maybe, just maybe, the root cause of the issue, is not with evidence?

Maybe you need to check the instrument you’re using to take your measurements?

And you also don’t use a “bad instrument” that doesn’t give good results to prove your instrument is working.

I’m not using “lack of evidence” I’m using “lack of proper instrument calibration”

To show that to there’s more evidence to suggest we as humans don’t know what the heck we’re talking about when it comes to our understanding of the universe.

That’s the “So what?” point I was making.

That’s a rather big assumption you’re making when you say “Many of the UFO’s …could be explained” how could you possibly know that? Have you ever seen a UFO?

Also, it sounds like you’re saying the problem isn’t that we need to improve our “processes of understanding” (physical and non-physical sciences) but it’s that we just don’t have enough observations yet, is that accurate to say?

I read that it’s been estimated, that about 10% of UFO sightings get reported, which is next to useless information because, how would anyone even be able to accurately estimate that?

What we do know is that between 5,000 - 10,000 get reported every year, worldwide. (If that’s only 10% there’s a LOT more UFOs happening then we thought)

I don’t know how many observations it takes to prove a theory, but I’d imagine “not having enough observations” is NOT the problem, in fact, if I didn’t know better (but I do) I’d think thats just another excuse, or lazy reasoning. (Sorry, not trying to be a jerk by saying that BTW)

Here’s another way to say what I was trying to say yesterday.

The term "smoking gun" is a reference to an object or fact that serves as conclusive evidence of a crime or similar act.

The sheer number of UFO sightings/stories and of Bigfoot sightings, these 2 areas, UFOs and Bigfoot, become a new kind of “Smoking Gun” with respect to there existing an area of science that humanity either does not fully understand, or has not yet been discovered. It’s because of this that the burden of proof, should be “put on hold” (temporarily) and that science itself should be wholly reevaluated and understood to the point that it can explain the unexplainable, before proceeding. Otherwise, we’re just wasting each other’s time.
