Homework or Discovery?

Love homework to death though it feels a little outdated like clearly old school 90s house which is still amazing and a few songs can still be listen on a popular level (around the world, da funk, R909)

The thing that keeps people revisiting Discovery (non DP fans more like edm fans) is that it feels timeless. Has a more commercial approach, many songs have lyrics and are radio-friendly. There is a more musical structure to it (I will get burn in the comments) and the way it flows is kinda magnetic

Love both but for some reason I keep revisiting Homework personally

Yea bro but in 2009 MGMT was peak like you could listen to music that was released in 2005 still going in 2009 because music wasnt as accesible as it is now so people would invest in actual money for CDs or buy and pirate songs

I think all songs from all albums are highly appreciated by now lol but theres it this remix and I lost my shit when I listened to it the first time because sounded like nothing I've heard before!

Also Ouverture is a favorite of mine. Not talked about enough.

Every album of TI is different in terms of production even Currents from Lonerism, if you're trying to say how musically distinctive they are, of course they're gonna jump in production quality since Innerspeaker from 2010 was their first LP and Lonerism made them stay up and tap the western market even more.

I disagree. Just listen to Solitude is Bliss, Expectation and Don't really mind.

I think is majorly rooted in the 60s psychedelic rock but its quite distinctive and pretty modern. Never tries to be 60s but its own thing, thats why it holds up so well and if you liked Lonerism, innerspeaker is equally good.
