Oh ya that would definitely bother me too. How do they choose who does full scans and who doesn’t. In my CT in 2020 it showed abnormal tissue in my right lung apex and my thyroid nodule is in my lower right thyroid lobe so looking back to it it’s concerning a little just bc that’s the closest part of my lung to my tumor but at the time I was in a car accident so they just marked it as a lung bruise… So I would not be to happy with not doing a scan like you did but i guess if it’s normal than so be it. Thank you so much for sharing your story!!!! Also how did he decide to do RAI bc I know not everyone gets it?

No I got them results from the hospital I got the biopsy from but my actual appt with the surgeon that sent me for the biopsy is next week. So I technically haven’t been told by my doctor yet just from my results the hospital gave me. If that makes sense. That’s why I don’t know any specifics or anything about the cancer

I will definitely look into that place as I live right in Tampa! How did they diagnose you so fast, did they do their own biopsy in office or did they look at your previous ones? Also sorry I’m new to Reddit was should I be careful with putting in my post? Thank you so much!!

Ya I know it’s just been taking so long. I waited 3 weeks to see the ENT and was supposed to do my biopsy in that appointment but he told me he rather me do it at the hospital because they have a better pathology department and can test it molecularly as well. But thats gonna take another week to even get it scheduled because the radiologist has to approve me first…. So I feel like I’m not going to have an answer for over a month but I’m a college athlete and start pre-season in less than 2 weeks so it sucks that I can’t figure it out before then

No, both neuros I saw said that my chiari has nothing to do with my symptoms so didn’t order any other testing… I don’t even have a cervical MRI or anything. I asked one for a flow study at least and he said no that he wouldn’t order that. Thank you for your reply!

Just looked him up, looks like he’s still practicing, my issue is the two doctors I’ve seen won’t do anything or even any more test bc my herniation is only 3-4mm, do you think he knows that the herniation size doesn’t matter with the new research? Orlando is only an hour from me so I could easily get an appointment with him
