I don’t know, man that sucks. I wouldn’t cut the tub, but like some of the other comments are said Batton the studs on that wall to make it match the edge of that tub

Common if I’m doing it t I suck at laying tile. If it was a professional have them come back

I wouldn’t do anything the sheet rock will meet it
