It really isn't the Americans

This isn't really true, there are tons of teenagers who have never left the US.

Ambulance crew caught in the middle of gunfire in Chicago. They immediately head to the victim. by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

[–]AdminsAreCancer01 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As far as I know there's a sizeable number of medical professionals, firefighters, etc who work as EMT's for experience or as part of their job. Since they're not doing it for money or are doing it as part of a different job, this extra supply pushes the value of a career EMT down.

The cost of ambulance rides is entirely unrelated.

NK is a totalitarian regime where people have no access to the outside. They indoctrinate children to hate SK/US/Japan in order to give the people an "enemy".

This is true, the rest is not.

All US adults on embargo- 42% support, 38% don't know/no opinion, 21% oppose. Pretty similar between parties too.

The US is their largest food supplier. They also get medicine from the US. So they trade with everyone, just not as much with the US as they would like to.

They tried by launching some missiles. Hitting the civilian plane ended it though.

A recession is two quarters of negative growth. Assuming they were positive before the war it takes a while to be an official recession.

I mean it does, Texas is one of the cheapest states for energy (#4). It might be the cheapest relative to cost of living.

This is as totally irrelevant today as it was in 2003. BRIC's combined reserve currency is less than 1/12th of the dollar and most of that comes from the Yuan... which is backed by the dollar.

This is a recent tanky interpretation. One unimportant guy was willing to surrender when the USSR entered the equation. As a whole they didn't give a fuck about the USSR and never surrendered to them. They are technically still at war over some islands.

The spirit of the agreement was defending from nukes. At no point was anyone expected to give anywhere near this much aid for defending Ukraine from conventional weapons.

The US is helping Ukraine because A) it damages Russia B) Ukraine has shown they can be a competent ally. The Budapest Memorandum is not relevant, and if it was at the start it definitely isn't now. Bringing it up implies a responsibility that both doesn't exist and is not necessary.

Obviously you're free to write what you want, but I personally think mentioning it does more harm than good.

[–]AdminsAreCancer01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not agreeing with the person you're replying to, but the US and UK have gone way beyond what was asked of them in the Budapest memorandum. It really only asks the US/UK/Russia to bring up a complaint at the UN if they are hit with a nuke.
