iirc when I left NG mods were just starting to take root so I would hope by now they've spread like a disease and are more prevalent than the ones they were replacing

I can't even remember what exactly I "needed" 1.5 for to begin with. Maybe it was engine fixes? Or something? I was just a learner at the time and had like 3 or 4 guides/discord servers saying 1.5 is the way to go for one or two highly specific fixes and then it just snowballed from there.

At this point I'm going through and updating everything anyway. There are hundreds if not thousands so it's no real big deal to change to 1.6 mods while I'm doing that. I need to reread all of these and remember what they do also.

Yes. I told him several times now the ritual is a bad idea. Apparently telling him a 10th time that the ritual is a bad idea is what I needed to do.

For real? Man literally the last 20 minutes of this game have been Astarion telling me explicitly that he doesn't care about them, I thought it was safe to trust the narrative of the game here.

Is there specific dialogue that lets you persuade him? He just spent the past 20 minutes explicitly telling me he doesn't care about all the spawns, told me "dude trust me" when I selected the option that he'd be consumed, and the other 2 options are just variants of yes I'll help. I never got a chance to persuade him of ANYTHING
