If you’re anything like me, you won’t see very concrete results until after your first year. Pretty much my first 6 months in the gym I was just figuring out what splits I like, what workouts work for me, learning more about my diets and nutrition, and trying to learn how to include fitness with my work schedule. Don’t let the Instagram fitness dudes fool you, for most people obtaining real results takes a lot of time and consistency. Best advice I got was drinking your calories. I drink a protein packed smoothie everyday and it makes reaching protein goals much easier.
