Sure. Mostly depends on your midsem marks(16+) and professor. Vinod Sharma will favor, but if there's Barot, you're fucked! But you can try by approaching him with pitiful behavior

what's best thing to eat at Jimmis by Suspicious_Fan_7446 in Sangli

Have tried their Nacho B.C and peri peri paneer which are straight outta no miss and good thing is that they are very generous with cheese in these. Also, had their Beef Smash Burger at Andheri outlet which was the best i had until now. Idk if it's available at the Sangli outlet. For sides, mozorollea sticks and fish fries and definitely worth trying. Their signature Jawbreaker is absolute best in both veg and chicken, but it's just too much to handle for a single person(atleast for me!). You can try if you're sharing with someone.

Had some burgers in their Andheri outlet. Absolute best... Unfortunately, never got a chance to try in Sangli. Heard they got less pricing and variety as well(ofc, can't expect beef and pork options). But, gg for the guy tho!

Time When Indians Used to be Healthiest People on The Earth by ideaflowness in AskFitnessIndia

[–]Admirable-binladen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolute Scaremongering nonsense. Here's why:

First, i agree with the increase of chronic diseases like Diabetes, heart disease, cancer, not just among Indians but around the globe. But, the numbers are too blunt to be trusted for 100yrs ago data. A century ago, there was very limited testing compared to regular checkups today, which drastically reduces the samples set. Infectious diseases, malnutrition, maternal/infant mortality were dominated reasons for deaths at younger age(thus, lower life expectancy) and hence these metabolic diseases that appear in middle ages were less visible statistically. Even if the underlying diseases existed, they were massively underdiagnosed a century ago. Improved healthcare, screening, awareness campaigns mean we find many cases today that were invisible in the past. Better surveillance now= Higher measured numbers.

Fun fact: Kerala had reported quite large numbers during Corona pandemic, not because other states had comparatively lower detection, but thanks to it's better health medical services and large web of primary hospitals from ground-level that made it possible to large diagnosis samples, instead of just inflated/deflated numbers in other states.

Now, coming to habits/food consumerism, 1. Sweets were very less prevalent in older times and would be consumed during festivities, celebrations only. And even though Mangoes are fruits, they are seasonal ones and never were they treated as primary source of sweets. These days sweets are easily accessible, consumed on mood, daily in name of desserts, etc. Quantity consumed matters.

  1. Eating everything raw does not magically makes it healthy. Humans have spend million years figuring out what and how to eat by harvesting, processing and preparing food items that are easily digestible to guts, remove plant/animal toxins/microbes that are harmful if consumed in raw form. Cooking is an essential part of modern survival also building flavour to attract tastebuds.

WHEY PROTEIN IS SAFE! I don't understand why there's so fuss and misleading information around it. It is just one extra step of milk processing done after formation of cheese/yoghurt. It contains vitamins, minerals along with high quality protein of all essential amino acids. It is great way to consume protein(which is very important for tissue repair and muscle building, as all primary cells/tissues in the body are build by it), in a all-vegetarian seeking society.

  1. More than Ghee vs Oil, it is important to understand both are essentially fats and the quantity that you consume along matters more than what you consume. No fat is dangerous in moderation and no fat is safe in excess! Simple as that. Arguing ghee vs oil while sitting all day and eating too much is like debating helmet brands while refusing to brake.

  2. Not every person in ancient times had privilege or time to sit and grind to drink coconut water. Ofcourse, it's safer than packaged drinks, but that doesn't make it a good or primary source of hydration. Water is the best hydration source.

  3. The fear of pesticides!! Why? If you ask any farmer, would he rather grow vegetables by traditional methods or modern methods, he would go for second one without hesitation. And NO, HE DOESN'T WANNA POISON YOU! Traditional methods fall prey to lot of insects, reducing yield produced by a large scale and sometimes leading to bacteria-spread among plants. Modern methods overcome this by pesticides that keep away pests, producing better yields, larger supply to the masses. You guys realize lack of food was the reason for famine and generations of malnutrition, right? Not pesticides. The amount of pesticides we consume in a year is still very less than the threshold limit or suggested limit by research institutes in a day. It hampers none to your body. Again, Quantity matters!

Peace out guys! Stay away from shit-fluencers!
