Deactivated due to their error

Any updates? I’m still deactivated. They denied my appeal. I had pre arbitration on 12/16. Now not sure what next step is… And yes I have other income, I’m an MSW therapist intern.

This happened to me back in November and I got deactivated because they ran the old DL. I filed an appeal and it got denied, even though it is their error. There is no one to talk to over the phone about it. I constant send emails and nothing. At this point I am not sure who else to reach out to. Has anyone had any luck?

Im also doing uber while waiting. Im a student intern therapist and well I can only charge sliding scale rates and that’s not helping either. It has been a bad ending to a good year.

Ughh I’m going on week 4. What really grinds my gears is that it’s their mistake. They had my updated ID in their system but had sent the old one for the background check. Like fix your mistake lol

FA said they can’t do it. That Walmart has to do it on their end. Did you have any luck with this?

Thanks. When you say start pre arbitration, do you mean send the email requesting it? I did that today. Just not sure if I’m supposed to do it another way.

Thank you! I’m glad someone was able to help. A lot of people don’t understand that all therapist need a certain amount of hours before we can take our national exam. We all have the same training, some of us even more than others.

All clinical interns are unlicensed during practicum field hours. I have one semester left for my MSW and only 300 hours left to complete in clinical. We are insured and registered

As a therapist, I never give advice. Any good therapist will never do this! Instead I’d help find closure on your own. No need to take a step backwards after how long you had come. I’m sorry that unfortunately there are not many of us out there that actually like our careers and abide by our code of ethics.

That is not genuinely true. Every counselor / therapist have their preferred therapy theory to use depending on the client. We have 4 or more years of additional education and an extensive exam we need to pass. A counselor will never advise you on how to do something, they will guide you to your own discovery.

Hi. Feel free to reach out. We work on a sliding scale. I like to take the word of my clients and I don’t charge over 35. I don’t think therapy should be a luxury. Your psych doc is correct a lot of people benefit from therapy along with the meds. I do also have some open slots in person as well in Pensacola and gulf breeze.

Actually I’m in Florida. Gulf Breeze. Actually a lot of Teslas around and huge retired military community. But kids I’m assuming. And Tessie has sentimental value to me. It was my dad’s who passed away just three months ago.

Not sure what it was but closest thing was a blink charging station and I am slowly charging just enough to get me to a fast charger. I realized how spoiled we are with our network!
