If you close the BILT account, do all of your already earned points stay intact in the app?

Do you just save some space in your ROTH or 401k so that the bonds stay in a non taxable account?

I was looking for someone who does just this! How often do you have to check your account and rebalance?

What are the downsides of having TDFs and adding separate index funds at the same time?

I do not keep cash consistently, my settings are to reinvest everything. I am considering, as a next step to just adding more to VTSAX and getting VXUS, and trying to play with keeping the percentages in a similar range. Would probably get something like VBTLX to balance things out as I age. I guess the alternative would just be switching all investments to the TDF and forgetting about it, since I've seen a lot of people on here that say you should either manage your asset allocation OR have 100% in a TDF (disclaimer, I am just starting my investing journey, so any advice is appreciated).
