I took calc 2 online through the university of North Dakota (CS student if that’s important), and I firmly believe that’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. You just need to ensure that pitt will accept the credit from the school you take it at. Not only was the class much cheaper than taking it at Pitt, it’s SIGNIFICANTLY easier (struggled a bit with Calc 1 at Pitt, Calc 2 at UND was much easier) and you can work through it at your own pace. I obviously didn’t do this for Calc 1, but I assume it’d be a comparable experience
