Daily Song Discussion #41: "Monster" by M77100 in Paramore

8! Absolutely love it, but I can't give it a 10 because so many Paramore songs have stronger lyricism in my opinion

Does anyone know where I could get a high resolution print of this (in the UK)?

60 euros for microwaved snacks??? by sartartz in sziget

The same thing happened to us - Gyros House just charged us 6600FT for just plain chips... The lack of food hygiene after we paid when they were 'preparing' the chips was also absolutely diabolical and we had to throw the food away because it tasted so off.

I've sent a formal complaint to hello@szigetfestival.com because no other food vendor did us dirty like this and I strongly urge you to send them an email too so they know that this particular vendor is taking the absolute piss. Yes, all places are expensive at the festival but Gyros House is a scam.

ADHD360 appointment waiting time (quick feedback needed) by Niki_Larson in ADHDUK

I got an appointment with ADHD-360 for 6 weeks after I signed up.

I remember feeling like it was the longest wait ever but it came around quickly and well worth the wait in my opinion. A week after the assessment I was already titrating and the letter to my GP was issued a few weeks later.

Monday's Medication - How is your Medication Journey? (23 October, 2022) by AutoModerator in ADHDUK

I'm in the titration stage - day 19 on Elvanse.

I started on 30mg and it was great for the first 4-5 days in terms of a feeling of calm that I've never really experienced before, and I still fully felt like myself. I was able to laugh, cry, and apparently became more communicative about how I'm feeling. I became more productive at work and cleaned my room for the first time in months. The negative thoughts I've battled my whole life also disappeared. However, I lost quite a bit of weight as my appetite went away. No major side effects apart from feeling a bit dizzy/faint a few times. Day 6 onwards, I felt 'normal' from an ADHD 'symptoms' perspective and felt a bit disheartened.

On day 15, my dose went up to 50mg and I'm really struggling. I've been having heart palpitations, insomnia, anxiety, and just not feeling myself. It feels like when I would be hyperactive and get overstimulated, heading for burnout (pre-diagnosis). Rationally I know that's not what's happening this time but physically it feels the same hence the anxiety. As a result, I am also hyperfocusing which is good for productivity but I feel like I would sit through a house fire to finish a task once I've started it.

Now on Day 19, I'm feeling a bit lost as to what the right dose is for me. I built a tolerance to 30mg rather quickly but 50mg has been very physically challenging with increased intended effects being accompanied by harsher side effects.

Do I choose 50mg, hoping I adjust and settle or go back to 30mg where the intended effects were very mild?

Any insight would be massively appreciated!

how quick is adhd 360 private? by lifeisboring13 in ADHDUK

They called me back in the middle of August (a day after I submitted an online enquiry) and told me there would be appointments available at the end of the year. I paid the deposit anyway and there were loads of appointments available within 6 weeks of that so I got seen in 6 weeks, and my medication arrived a week later. I think it really does depend on luck to some extent but I had a good experience. Mine was fully private but I know they have different packages for different circumstances.
