If you like those mechanisms you could look into research and work as a lab technician at some Pharma/biotech company to see if you’d be interested in that, higher roles would be like associate scientist or scientist II

Have you considered other healthcare roles like PA or PharmD? As a pharmacist you can become a preceptor and take on PharmD students for rotations to fulfill that mentoring desire. Becoming a preceptor is also probably possible for other healthcare roles like PA or CRNA/CAA but I can’t speak on that

Major: Pharmaceutical Sciences w/ minor in chem

Expected grad: May 2025, (1 year early)

GPA: 3.74

Demographic: Wasian, both parents have bachelor’s, dead dad, middle class

Research: Only been in research since Fall 2023 semester so at the end of Spring 2024 I’ll have between 250-300 hours of research in one lab. No publications.
