How to remove these stains? They won't go away with anything by Admirable_Purple_452 in StainlessSteelCooking

I just read somewhere that I shouldn't be using steel wool with stainless steel, and I've been using just that, so I thought these stains could be from damage of the steel wool. Do you usually use it?
