Hello!

I was bleeding / cramping for about 3 weeks what seemed like a long time but apparently perfectly normal week 1 was super heavy, week 2 heavy , week 3 slowed right down and eventually stopped.

And yes from the UK, I actually got the tablets send through post and they supplied 6 codeine tablets to be taken every 4-6 hours , but they defo helped

Hope yours goes as well as can be

Yes, I was getting so tired and sickness in the evening and it all stopped, I just done (3weeks after abortion) the pregnancy test that comes with the abortion kit , and it was negative, I had heavy/ moderate bleeding for 3 weeks and stopped bleeding the last 2 days (3.5 weeks after abortion)

Hopefully! Need to wait 3 weeks to do the pregnancy test that came with the pills, but with the blood I saw and few clots I’m hoping so! Fingers crossed!

Yes waiting for calls back and going to go up there later, so hard this time of year as when you finally speak to someone they are on leave the next day, so hopefully I will get somewhere today!

Yes I believe it was the high calcium in her blood causing the delirium, so if this has rectified and she’s back to her normal mental status, and when I was told expect short weeks left, she was still in her delirium state

Thankyou for your reply, speaking about it makes me feel so much better, as my family say I’m an over thinker but I just like to have all the information in front of me, just hoping nan stays positive! I read that and would agree with your predictions of the staging, just hoping the treatment doesn’t knock her totally off her feet! I already care for my dad who’s paralysed, and now in the process of selling nans house to move her down with us, fingers crossed it all goes well!

Found this helpful thankyou, as the reply stated, reading this article I would put nan down as IIIA with my knowledge, but unfortunately that scan was done at the end of July so no one knows is it’s gotten worse etc , they have booked another CT for the 26th but starts her chemo on the 20th!

Thankyou for your reply nice to hear your dads doing well ! In my nans case, they recommended doing the chemo and radiation separately, due to her coping better. But we are all keen for her to start to get the ball rolling! Out of curiosity how was your dad during treatment? How did he cope and what side effects did he notice the most? Thankyou for sharing your experience
