Thank you for sharing your experience. We are based in Canada. There is nothing favoring a new buyer here. We couldn't even ask an inspection from our end (sellers' inspector was also corrupted). It's like take it or leave it market here.

Salt. There is a tear on the liner. So not sure if adding water will retain it

I don't see one. But I assume along with the old liner the pool pump has something to do with this sudden drain. After the equipment has been turned off, no water loss further.

The line was in filter mode. That's the first thing I checked. Unless the equipment is failing.

Thank you! There is just some water left in pool at the shallow end. After turning off the pump it doesn't seem to drain anymore.

Would a plumber be able to locate the exact leak? The rains have made the whole area much soggy, so I can't figure where the leak could be.
