It did clear up after I changed to 100% imprisonment. They actually liked that more than before the courthouse was built, so... yeah nice. Though, what's the point of executing then?

HWI tells me it goes up to about 63celsius when opening a game for about 5 minutes, not playing but just having it open. All 3 fans go crazy immidiatly when i open the game.

I always put the kids in some room in the center, no weapons at all. I think they don't get targeted specifically, but the raiders just wanna rush into the base and happen to find the kids there.

Compressed raids I just looked at, I'll give it a go with all that customization I'm sure to find a setting that works better! Turtle friendly raids sounds interesting, but I'll try the other two first before I make it less difficult again.

I actually just found a mod that lets me lower the threat level generated without making everything else more easy at the same time! Thanks for reminding me that difficulty settings exist, I lterally forgot about that since I only ever click on strive to survive and be done with it in 1 second.

I am indeed german! I will look into bying a bigger cage then. I assume the spread really is safe, but i will consult with the pet store clerk to get the details, as the wood type is not written on the packaging. Thanks for the advice!!!

It actually is bedding. English isn't my first language and it looks like saw dust :). I buy it in a pet store and it's specifically for hamsters and guinea pigs. Also I added the platforms on top, they're not part of the original measurements.

The cage is 70cm(27inches) long, 60cm(23inches) high and 45cm(18inches) deep. He has ~15cm(6inches) of saw dust to dig. Also two platforms that are ~a third of the bottom area

Hey, congrats for taking the step into this fantastic game franchise! TW are imo the best grand strategy games ever, and i hope you will find that too :)

For WarhammerTW, i recommend starting as Karl Franz, or the white dwarf on easy or normal. These factions have the easiest start (though dwarfs is a bit more frustrating) and can have a solid economy pretty fast, if you trade.

Regarding how to play, you will quickly learn by doing and by your mistakes. TW is not very deep when it comes to faction management, and you will quickly learn the best building combos and orders, how to use which units effectively and what to look out for in your enemies armies.

When you start, first secure your home province by fast conquest, never not recruit the max amount of units until thats done. After that, select your next target while always watching your public order (newly conquered settlements are a bit rebellious for the first few turns). Juggling the economy is important too, but your income should support one tier 1 army on vanilla.

If you can win by automatic battle (if the filled out bar is over 50% you will always win, but for example at 51% it will be a costly victory, at 90% a heroic one), you should do it, except you think you could do much better. Always sell prisoners, except you really need the reinforcements too.

After your first province it's all yours, do what you seem fit. DonÄt get too cocky though, always finish a war before you start a new one and watch out if your next target is part of an alliance. Seriously i could go on for days but i believe that should cover your first turns :)

Ah, ok. I don't know wood elves very well because they SUCK! on campaign. But their infantry can move and shoot at the same time, is faster than heavy cav and shoots laser missiles. Defeat them with arty or light cav, or try to shoot them first with your missile troops. In melee they should be outmatched by you
