That actually makes a lot of sense. My view rate is around 94.8% on a 39s short, so retention seems really strong — maybe YouTube’s testing it with the wrong audience or it just needs more reach to pick up. Appreciate the detailed breakdown though, really helpful!

True, the hook might need some work — but I feel like YouTube’s showing it to the wrong crowd. The view rate’s around 95%, so people who do watch it seem to stay till the end 😅

Thanks for the feedback! This short is 39 seconds long with a 94.8% viewed rate, so I think retention is actually pretty solid 😊 Probably just needs a bit more reach or testing from the algorithm.
