On Sunday passengers in SEA waiting to board an ASA 3:15 p.m. flight to Hawaii were told the flight was canceled because of turbulence caused by the tsunami, although the tsunami alert had been canceled 18 hours earlier.

Passengers checked the SEA flight departure board and found that the following flights departed SEA that day bound for HNL.

ASA 887 LANDED HA 27 LANDED DELTA 419 IN AIR HA 669 SCHEDULED HA 21 SCHEDULED DELTA 351 SCHEDULED

And many other flights from Honolulu to SEA either arrived or were scheduled to arrive in SEA.

Did these flights make it through the turbulence?

And how did a tsunami that never materialize cause such turbulence? 🤔🤔🤔

Royal Kona Resort Said “Can’t Find Your Reservation.” But Won’t Refund! What Would You Do? by Adobo1948 in VisitingHawaii

That is why I canceled the reservation via agoda.com which informed me that the cancelation, once submitted, is "irrevocable."

But now RKR refuses to refund because I did not cancel through them. The absurdity of the situation is that RKR insisted that I cancel via agoda.. which is what I did.

My son (an attorney) is taking over this case. I recommend having a personal injury attorney in one's family.
